2026 GMAS Testing Information
Greetings WJMS Families,
Mark your calendar! The administration of the Georgia Milestones for our 6th-8th grade students will begin May 4th. Your students are working hard in their classes now to prepare for this important assessment. Check out this GMAS EOG/EOC presentation. Students also received a letter regarding GMAS testing today.
May 4th: ELA Section 1
May 5th: ELA Sections 2 & 3
May 6th: Make-Up Testing Day
May 7th: Math Sections 1 & 2
May 8th: Make-Up Testing Day
May 11th: 8th Grade ONLY Science & Physical Science Sections 1 & 2 Testing Day
May 12th: 8th Grade ONLY Georgia Studies Sections 1 & 2 Testing Day
May 13th: 8th Grade ONLY EOC Algebra Testing Day & Make-Up Testing Day
May 14th: 8th Grade ONLY EOC Algebra Testing Day & Make-Up Testing Day
May 11th-15th: Make-Up Testing Days
The retest for 8th Grade Math is June 2nd. We will contact the families of students who meet the criteria to retest before the end of the school year.
Here are some ways you can support your student now in preparation for the GMAS:

Encourage your child to give his/her best efforts in class each day.

Attendance matters! Students are still learning new skills and concepts at this time of year while keeping old learning fresh!
