SCHOOL MISSION

The mission of William James Middle School is to create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment which affirms diversity, encourages involvement, and promotes success for all learners through the cooperative efforts of students, parents, faculty, staff, and community.

BELIEFS

• all students have the ability to learn when given the opportunity
• all students deserve a curriculum which allows them to be an active participant in their education
• all students deserve a support system of caring people whom are willing to help them whenever necessary:
       -in the facilitation of academic, physical, and emotional growth
       -in the development of a sense of belonging through positive
       relationships, social pride, and a sense of community
