CURRICULUM MAPPING is a means of articulating what happens in a classroom, school and district. It is a calendar based compilation of the content, skills and assessments that a child experiences at each grade level. Just as a road map shows where you are, where you've been, and where you are going, a curriculum map gives the same information about what is occurring in a classroom, in a school, and in schools throughout the district. It is a tool for communication as well as long and short term planning.
