Benchmark Assessment

The benchmark is a 65 question assessment tool that is aligned to our standards and will be given after we complete each Unit. This will provide ongoing assessment so that we can identify strong and weak areas for your student in Physical Science.  Students analyze their results and compare to the last time they took the benchmark assessment to determine where they have improved and what they need to work on most.   Please ask your student about their strengths and weaknesses and about where and how they were able to show growth.  Please encourage them to strive to improve each time they take this assessment.  Thank you for your support.

What Are We Up To?

We have hit the ground running for the second semester.  We took our 3rd Benchmark Test on Wednesday 1/4.  Please ask your student how they did.  We have also begun Unit 3 which will conclude the week before Winter break, so we are moving at a rapid pace now.
